2015 a Big Year for Flood Products at RMS
RMS continues to strengthen its global flood product offering with the recent release of its Global Tsunami Scenario Catalog and South Korea Probabilistic Flood Maps and Flood Scenario Catalog. The Global Tsunami Scenario Catalog is the first of its kind in the insurance industry, and provides the most comprehensive global coverage of potential tsunami events on major subduction zones around the world. The South Korea Probabilistic Flood Maps and flood scenarios provide insight into potential flood depths at a range of return periods to support underwriting, accumulation management, and solvency testing. RMS has exciting plans to continue the expansion of our flood products in 2015 to enable the industry to accurately underwrite, price, and model flood risk. More information will follow next month.
