RMS Support Update

We are pleased to announce a redesign of the Peril Library within RMS Owl. Later this month, the Peril Models section of the RMS Owl Library will display all content in a tabbed format similar to the Product Library. This will allow for improved organization and additional content on each page, for easier access to the answers you need.

RMS Releases First Global Tsunami Solution
RMS has released the RMS® Global Tsunami Scenario Catalog, which includes a large set of tsunami inundation footprints generated from megathrust (typically moment magnitude 9) earthquakes on subduction zone plate boundaries around the globe. Each footprint includes all countries and coastlines impacted, with inundation depths. To learn more about how the catalog supports underwriting, risk pricing, and portfolio management decisions, download the Global Tsunami Scenario Catalog Executive Briefing #1 on RMS Owl.

Hong Kong Exposure Datasets Now Available
The Hong Kong Economic Exposure Database and Industrial Clusters Catalog are now available. The database captures building replacement values by line of business and by administrative regions, and the catalog provides precise location, footprints, and additional data, such as industry types, for industrial clusters. Email asia-exposure@rms.com for more information.

Managing Flood Risk in South Korea
South Korea Probabilistic Flood Maps and Flood Scenario Catalog are now available. Read the South Korea Flood Maps Executive Briefing to learn more.

New Zealand and Japan High-Resolution Economic Exposure Databases
In February, RMS is releasing the first high-resolution Economic Exposure Databases for Japan and New Zealand, providing building values by line of business with nationwide geographic coverage. The high-resolution databases are derived from building-level geospatial data from the RMS high-definition (HD) building database and local and national census data. Email asia-exposure@rms.com for more information.

RMS U.S. Enhanced FEMA Flood Zone Data Update
The fourth quarter update to the 2014 RMS U.S. Enhanced FEMA Flood Zone Data (2014 Package 4) is now available.
