Time: 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. PDT
Did You Miss Our June 25 Flood Webinar?
We covered a lot of ground in “The Big Picture on Flood Modeling.” If you missed it and want to watch the replay or want to share these insights with colleagues, you can:
Europe Flood HD Models: Pre-Release Materials
The RMS Europe Flood HD models, targeted for release this year, will offer a detailed view of flood risk across 13 countries. These fully probabilistic models use simulated precipitation to correctly capture peril correlation, antecedent condition, and hours clauses. Used in combination with the associated flood hazard maps, this comprehensive solution provides new tools to manage flood risk and expand insurance business in Europe.
These pre-release guidance materials featuring the scope, benefits and hazard maps are now available in Owl:
U.S. Enhanced FEMA Flood Zone Data Update
The second quarterly update to the 2015 RMS U.S. Enhanced FEMA Flood Zone Data (2015 Package 2) is now available. This update reflects the January 2015 to March 2015 changes made to the FEMA Flood Insurance Rate Maps, in addition to revisions made from October 2014 to December 2014, which were included in 2015 Package 1.
RMS clients who license data in RiskBrowser Online will automatically receive this update on July 17. RiskLink and RiskBrowser clients who license RMS U.S. Enhanced FEMA Flood Zone Data can download the updates via secure access links on Owl.
RMS Event Reports on Owl
Based on your feedback, you can now link directly to specific event tab locations within the Event Response section of Owl. This makes sharing event reports easier and more streamlined, and enables you to bookmark key sections of the reports for later references. To get the direct link within an event report, simply click the blue “Get Link” text at the bottom of the page. The RMS Owl team truly values your ongoing input—please continue to share your great ideas by clicking the “Feedback” link at the top of each page.
